TOTTENHAM UNDERGOES COACHING CHANGE

Brandon Billie will take over as bench boss for the Tottenham Steam along side new assistant Coach Austin Brown.Coach Dennis Maruk will be absent for the remainder of the season as he has left for family Emergency. Billie who resides in Georgetown, Ontario brings a wealth of hockey knowledge and playing experience to the Steam.

Billie has played junior and professional hockey between the ECHL, FHL, and Sweden. Billie also had a brief stint in the GMHL where he would play for the 8th overall seeded under dogs, the Halton Ravens.Billie's Ravens would go on to the Playoff Semi-Finals and lose a tough game 7 against Temiscaming who would later win the league championship.

Assistant Coach Austin Brown who resides in Mississauga, Ontario has spent the last 4 seasons playing Jr hockey in the OJHL and GOJHL as a top Defensmen. The Mississauga Native brings strong knowledge to the Defensive zone for the Tottenham Steam.The Lindsay muskies became his first JR A home as he would play two seasons with them and go on to play in two OJHL ALL-STAR games. Austin Would end his Jr Career with the Caledonia Corvairs GOJHL where they would go on to win the League championship. Austins strong play with the Corvairs would earn him the league award for most Points by a Defensemen.

Coach Billie and Coach Austin are excited for the opportunity of helping the Steam get back on winning track as well as helping players develop their hockey skills and move on to the next level.
