Tottenham Steam Junior A Hockey Team welcomes players from around the Globe.

The Tottenham Steam Junior A Hockey Team is a member of the GMHL Hockey League.  We concentrate on providing excellent player experience & developing their skills to meet their Hockey career goals.

The Tottenham Steam’s Jr A Hockey regular season starts in September, playing 42 games up until February, playoffs follow and end beginning of April.

The Tottenham Steam Junior A Hockey Club Tier II in the GMHL Hockey League is designed around the development and exposure of young hockey players between the ages of 15-21. The players we develop have the aspirations of advancing their hockey careers through the NCAA, Major Junior or Professional levels of hockey. Our partnerships with the GMHL and World Hockey Centre give our program connections to all levels of hockey, with the proven ability to promote players to higher levels of the game.

Our goal each season is to improve and enhance the game of hockey through our player program for each and every player.  The Staff of Tottenham Steam Jr. A Hockey Club are dedicated to all of our players to help develop skills not only in hockey but in life and help our players advance towards their goals playing at a higher level of hockey.

The Steam practice on ice 3-4 times a week 1-1.5h depending on the game schedule. The team also will be part of dry land training twice a week and the players also will have access to the Community Centre gym for personal training.   Our hockey club can arrange a prep course for players interested in taking the SAT test. Completing the SAT’s is highly recommended for any future advancement in the NCAA.   The Tottenham Steam is very involved with the Community.  Our players will be helping with many local events over the course of the season.

Players are billeted with local families around the Tottenham area.  Billet homes and families are carefully selected by our staff, we have close and continuous contact with our families to ensure our players are properly accommodated and supported to assist with their performance on the ice.

The Staff of Tottenham Steam are looking forward to a successful, fun and exciting season, as well as working together with the Tottenham Community.
